Upon my reading of the Quran, I found that many themes of the text are wrapped up in parables. Being the Christian man that I was, I are fascinated not only with parables in the Scriptures, but also Parables consist of religious text as well. For this paper I will be focusing on parables and for what reason they are type in many Muslims paths to spiritual ascension.

The 1st parable that we will be speaking about is the Parable of the Doggie (Surah six: 175-177). This kind of parable is about people who turn away from the Ayat of Thor. Due to my own limited qualifications in the Quran I looked up the meaning of Ayat, and it means sign or facts. The parable of the doggie is about people that deny signs of Allah.
